Welcome to The Current FUMC Youth!

The Current is rooted in a water theme. Many times in the Bible, water is referred to as bringing a flourished life to an area. We want youth to be just that. Just as the river and a current unify in one common direction leading towards a flourished life, we want Jackson FUMC youth to lead each of you towards a flourishing life in Christ.

Together, working and worshiping in one common direction, we can lead each other and those around us towards a deeply rooted relationship with God. This is done through a wide variety of opportunities that are offered throughout the year. These opportunities range from social events, with the purpose of establishing and growing relationships with one another, to intense mission experiences, serving people in need in a physical way, with the purpose of putting others first and experiencing God at work in intimate ways.
