Recreation

FUMC's Recreation Ministry offers a wide variety of activities for all ages and interests. Throughout the year, the FUMC family gets together for quick trips to see the Memphis Redbirds or University of Memphis Tigers. Golf Scrambles are held either in the spring or fall for some fun competition on the  links. Church Family picnics are always a hit as well as our annual Advent Family night to make Advent wreaths and ornaments as well as play games and decorate and EAT cookies! We also participate in the Downtown Mardi Gras Parade each year. We have a stong showing each year in Youth and Men's Church League Basketball and Softball. We have a great time during Wednesday Evening Fellowship learning to line dance, scrap book, oil paint or stretch our tensions away with Yoga.

The Henton-Waller Activity Center consists of a full-size gymnasium, stocked equipment room, recreation office, a racquetball court and a mezzanine area for general use and programming,

The activity center is used by individuals and a variety of church and community groups throughout the year for numerous activities.
