College Opportunities

College Life Sunday School Class

The class will kick-off a new study September 5th.  We will be looking at Adam Hamilton's resource: "When Christians Get It Wrong."  For six weeks we will look at issues our generation has identified as reasons to leave the Church.  We will learn what Jesus teaches about these issues and seek a better understanding of living our Christian faith in love.  We meet every Sunday at 10 a.m. in room 102. 

College Life Group

Our small group will meet each Tuesday starting September 14th at 8 p.m.  We will usually meet at the Green Frog Coffee Co. downtown, but occasionally will venture out.  We will start off getting to know each other and our faith backgrounds, and then we will have loose discussions on Scripture, the Church, faith, and life (especially life in our college years).  All are welcome!

Wednesday Evening Fellowship (WEF)

Starting September 1st come to FUMC for an AMAZING meal (students eat free) and then participate in the evening class or ministry of your choice.  Click here for a guide to the different opportunities.

Lambuth University

While our college ministry is for all students, we have a special relationship with Lambuth University through our United Methodist connection.  The church and college have enjoyed a mutual friendship of support for over a century, and we hope this continues for many years to come.  Our church is packed with proud alumni, including our associate pastor who works with the college students.  Anyone interested in attending or supporting Lambuth can call on us for information and assistance or check out Lambuth's website here: Lambuth University's web site
