Memorials, Honoraria, & Donations
First Church has a rich history in many ways, including the tradition of giving through the Memorial, Honorarium and Donation Fund. A gift to the church given in memory or honor of someone is an excellent way to remember a loved one, a friend, or to celebrate a special occasion. Gifts may be designated or undesignated. Undesignated gifts are used at the discretion of the finance committee to support ministries not provided for in the annual budget. The following is a partial list of designated funds:
- Missions
- Music
- Arts for Esteem
- Youth
- Children
- Nursery
- Recreation
- Pastors’ Benevolent
- Pastors’ Discretionary
